Dr. Maria is very helpful! Before I contacted Language Master Group I could not speak at all and I am now speaking after just a few weeks in her small group lessons. She helps me with corrections when necessary & her practice is really helping me improve. I have a lot of fun with the rest of the students. I do not usually write reviews, but Dr. Maria at Language Master Group really deserves this one. I started last year with a free demo lesson with Maria, in the summer of 2025 and she exceeded my expectations.

Doctor Maria is amazing! I have always been nervous speaking Spanish as I come from a Spanish speaking household, but Dr. Maria has changed my perspective and given me confidence in just one month.

I am soooo excited. We get so lost in conversation that I don’t feel like it’s a “lesson” but rather a chance for me to just speak without being scolded on what I’m getting wrong. My family has made comments on how well I’m doing, and I owe it all to Dr. Maria! I plan to continue with a second package of 1 on 1 coaching lessons or joining one of her groups.

Before finding Maria and her Language Master Group team for 1 on 1 coaching, I had some disappointing experiences with other tutors. While they spoke Spanish well, they often could not explain concepts in a clear way or help me feel comfortable actually speaking. Hi, I normally do not write reviews but I thought Doctor Maria deserves one for her great work teaching me Spanish. I found her on this platform a few months ago and after having a free demo lesson with her I hired her.

I met other teachers online but she was way different in her teaching approach and even in the free demo I learned and spoke more in Spanish than with any other person I found to teach. She is a lot of fun and a real pleasure.

I have been meeting her twice a week and have improved my Spanish so much that my own boyfriend who is from Puerto Rico cannot believe it. I took Spanish at high school and college but with Doctor Maria I have really learned to speak and communicate. She also teaches at the university and it made me think how come she did not teach me back then lol.

Thanks to her knowledge, and holding a doctoral degree in Spanish Language and Literature I benefit from all the cultural explanations she gives me, not just the language. She is a native speaker and I learned she has lived in various Hispanic countries which makes her the ideal professor to do it all and learn about the rich culture Spanish has.

Doctor Torres is a gem. She is very patient, professional and knowledgeable. She holds a doctoral degree in Teaching Spanish and has introduced me in the real Spanish while learning how to communicate with my clients. I work in law and have to talk to many Hispanic clients.
