About Jet
I am good at what I do. I always follow my mom's motto of "You must perform at your best level in doing any tasks". Do not waste your time if you cannot put out your best efforts. I demand the same attitude from my students. The result is that many of my students achieve honor distinction in school, and many of them are either in or entering college. I value long term relationship with my students. My first private tutored student was a third grader, and he will be attending college in late August of this year 2021. He has been my student, being named student of the month several times, for 10 years. I am available to answer my student request for assistance even when we are not in sessions (through internet). I care about my student and I want to part of a team to guide my student to become a productive citizen of this world!

My lesson plan is simple and straightforward containing several steps. The initial step is to establish student skill baseline with my own diagnostic test. The next step is to tutor student with math topics aligning with being taught in school. Special focus will be placed on areas needing help based on the result of the diagnostic test. The student then applies what is being tutored/learned to sets of generated grade level specific questions. Results are kept in a data base to be discussed with student and parents. The data base is continuously updated with each progressing step in practice. I follow the rule of "avoid repeating same mistakes through learning and understanding of your mistakes made previously." To prepare for class test, special sessions with test related questions to be practiced are held under my guidance. The same process is applied to high level tests such as SAT in which student answers are collected, assessed, and analyzed to identify areas needing special focus. Multiple test examinations from the past are used for extensive practice. This funneling approach allows us to achieve the overall objective of minimizing occurrence of mistakes.
