About Yara
Hi! I’m Yara, an NYU Abu Dhabi graduate with over 4 years of private tutoring experience. I’ve worked with students across different ages and academic levels, helping them build confidence and make subjects that once felt overwhelming feel much more manageable.
I teach Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English, and I believe learning should never feel like simply memorizing information for the next test. I enjoy finding creative and simple ways to explain difficult concepts, using real-life examples, practice questions, visuals, and even little tricks that make things easier to remember.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to the person in front of me. Whether you need help catching up, staying on top of schoolwork, preparing for an exam, or challenging yourself with more advanced material, we can build lessons around what works best for you.
Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. There are no “stupid questions” in my lessons! My goal is for you to leave each session understanding the material better, feeling more confident, and hopefully enjoying the subject a little more than when we started.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand by breaking them down step by step, using examples, practice questions, and active problem-solving. I also make sure students understand why something works rather than simply memorizing information.
Lessons are typically 60–120 minutes, depending on the student’s age, level, and needs. Sessions can focus on understanding new material, reviewing difficult topics, homework support, exam preparation, or strengthening areas where the student may be struggling.
I am an NYU Abu Dhabi graduate with over 4 years of private tutoring experience, working with students across a range of subjects and academic levels. I teach Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English, and I adapt my teaching approach depending on both the subject and the student.
My lessons are suitable for students of all levels and ages, from younger students who need additional academic support to high school and university students preparing for more advanced coursework and exams. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, working through mistakes, and gradually becoming more independent learners.
