About Jezra

I am a dedicated online English tutor with six years of campus journalism background, teaching vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and English journalism, using flexible learning materials and adaptive methods tailored to each student’s goals, level, and preferred learning style effectively.

About the lesson

As an online English tutor, I am patient and attentive to each student’s individual learning needs. I believe that effective learning happens when lessons are adapted to the learner’s pace, goals, and level of understanding.

My teaching method begins with setting a clear lesson goal. I start each session with a short introduction and guiding questions to assess the student’s prior knowledge of the topic. From there, I introduce key English vocabulary needed for the lesson before moving into the main lesson proper, which may include grammar, reading, writing, or listening activities depending on the student’s needs.

To reinforce learning, I provide structured activities that check understanding and encourage active participation. At the end of each lesson, I evaluate the student’s progress, acknowledge their achievements, and give clear, constructive feedback on areas for improvement along with a summary of the lesson.

What sets me apart is my background as a campus journalist for 6 years, which strengthened my skills in English writing, communication, and critical thinking. I also have experience tutoring online and can adapt flexibly to different learning materials and student preferences.

I am open to teaching learners of various ages and backgrounds. While I am currently a college student, I am most experienced with elementary to college-level students. However, I am also capable of teaching adults and professionals who want to improve their English skills.
