About Mike
I’m a qualified teacher with over 10 years’ experience helping students succeed in Maths, Chemistry and Physics from Key Stage 3 to A-level. I’ve taught in schools and privately supported over 120 students one-to-one. I’m passionate about making complex topics feel simple and boosting students’ confidence through tailored, engaging lessons. Each lesson lasts 55 minutes, with 50 minutes of engaging, focused teaching followed by a 5-minute review to reinforce learning and outline next steps. I design every session around the individual student using a fully personalised learning plan. Short assessments are built into the programme to track progress, highlight improvements, and adapt the focus as needed. My lessons are clear, calm, and encouraging — helping students not just improve their grades, but genuinely enjoy learning.
