About Azra
I am an experienced online tutor with over five years of experience helping students succeed in Mathematics, Chemistry, and English. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and an MBA from Columbia University. My lessons are personalized, patient, and focused on helping students truly understand the material rather than simply memorize answers. I begin by identifying the student’s goals, current strengths, and areas that need improvement, then build each session around those needs. A typical lesson includes a brief review, clear step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and time for questions. I work with middle school, high school, and college students in mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, as well as Chemistry and English writing. My experience tutoring students across different levels and learning styles allows me to adjust my approach so each student feels supported, confident, and prepared to succeed.
