About Mohammed

Welcome to my tutoring service! I began my online tutoring journey in January 2023, and since then, I have had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students toward academic success. With thousands of hours of tutoring experience, I have consistently received high ratings from my students, which motivates me to improve and adapt my methods continually.

To stay at the forefront of my field, I regularly participate in professional development opportunities. I've completed workshops and online courses, including "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: An Intensive Workshop for Therapists" by Dr. David Burns and "Comprehensive Live Online CBT Training for Therapists Working with Children and Adolescents" with Dr. Taylor Chesney. These experiences enhance my teaching approach, enabling me to provide a more comprehensive educational experience.

I am also proud to be a certified SAT Full Test Instructor (Certification #10194), recognized by The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring.

In addition to my tutoring work, I volunteer as a book club facilitator for the "Feeling Great" Book Club, organized by Heather Clague and Brandon Vance, where I help create a supportive environment through small-group discussions. I also volunteer with Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA), participating in various events and initiatives that have earned me recognition in the community.

I earned my BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland in College Park. Additionally, I passed my Professional Engineering Exam in Electronics, Controls, and Communications Engineering in October 2022, which was a great accomplishment.

About the lesson

I focus on the topic or subject we are working on and engage the student in active learning as much as possible. I also believe in cooperation with my students and accommodating them based on their needs. Seeing my students learn and grow is one of the most rewarding experiences I have had, and it gives me a sense of pride knowing that I am contributing to society by creating future leaders and intellectuals. I generally teach subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Freshman/Sophomore/Junior level Electrical Engineering courses, etc.
