Hi, I am a very mature student. I started my art journey by enrolling on an Art Foundation at DMU. Tom was one of the 3rd year students then that came to give us novices some help. He gave me some great advice and I never forgot it. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to study for the BA degree in Fine Art, and even luckier to have Tom as one of my tutors. First in Drawing, where he stretched me out of my comfort zone...which now I understand why, and then on the Paint module. I Learned so much from him. He was critical, in a good way, but honest, and gave me confidence to try other ways in my art. We all miss his teaching skills. He was so passionate about paint....I have bought some of his creations and will look forward to producing art with his paint. Thankfully he is still giving us his passion on art on his YouTube and Instagram. Take a look and be inspired.

I have had the pleasure of being taught by Tom he has an excellent knowledge on all aspects of painting and art practices, as someone with dyslexia he makes things easy to understand and is a really approachable teacher, I wouldn't be where I am today without his support and teaching.
