About Meera
I’m currently pursuing a Master of Artificial Intelligence at Monash University while tutoring students one-on-one across a range of subjects. With over three years of personalised tutoring experience, I help students in programming (Python, Java, C++), AI and data science concepts, mathematics, English, and general study skills for Years 7–12 and beyond.
I focus on building strong fundamentals and genuine confidence in my students. I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s pace and needs, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. Having worked as a software developer for four years before moving into tutoring, I bring real-world context to technical subjects while also supporting students in English and writing.
I genuinely enjoy helping young people grow — not just academically, but in how they see themselves as capable learners.

In my lessons, I place strong emphasis on building solid fundamentals, as I believe a clear understanding of the basics is the key to mastering any subject. I break down concepts patiently and clearly, encouraging students to ask questions and truly understand the 'why' behind what they’re learning.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style, combining clear explanations with guided practice and regular review. My goal is to help students not only improve their results but also feel more confident and capable in their abilities.
