About Amina
I am a PhD researcher and Research Fellow based in Dublin with a background in biochemistry, pharmacology and biomedical sciences. Alongside my research work, I have experience teaching and supervising undergraduate and medical students in both practical laboratory techniques and theoretical concepts.
I enjoy teaching because I know how overwhelming science subjects can sometimes feel, especially when concepts are explained in a very technical way. My goal is to make lessons clear, engaging and adapted to each student’s needs and pace. I am patient, approachable and always happy to go through topics step by step until they make sense.
Whether you need support for Leaving Cert biology, university exams, assignments or general confidence in science subjects, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving steadily.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s level and learning style, whether you are preparing for Leaving Cert exams, struggling with university modules, or simply looking to build confidence in biology and biomedical sciences. My teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts clear, logical and easier to apply rather than relying on memorisation alone.
As a PhD researcher and university tutor with experience in biochemistry, pharmacology and cell biology, I aim to create a supportive and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I can help with exam preparation, coursework, scientific writing, data interpretation and understanding difficult topics step by step.
