About Lai

My name is Jack, I am currently a PhD researcher in Chemical Engineering. Along with my academic work, I have four years of tutoring experience across a range of levels, from primary school through to university students. As a tutor at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), I have had the privilege of helping students understand complex topics in chemistry and engineering, and seeing their growth has been truly rewarding. My teaching style is adaptive – I tailor each session to meet the individual needs of my students and ensure that they feel confident and supported throughout their learning journey. With my academic background and hands-on teaching experience, I am committed to providing you with clear explanations, practical examples, and strategies that help you succeed. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!

About the lesson

In my lessons, I focus on making math, physics, and chemistry not just understandable, but engaging instead. Instead of memorizing textbook, I believe in an adaptive, interactive teaching style that adjusts to your unique learning pace and preferences. Whether you’re tackling the fundamentals or exploring more advanced topics, I aim to create a supportive environment where you feel confident and excited to learn. With four years of teaching experience across primary, high school, and university levels, I’ve developed effective methods for breaking down complex concepts, ensuring that you grasp the material and apply it with ease. Together, we’ll build a solid foundation, improve problem-solving skills, and boost your academic performance.
