About Julia
About Me
I have built and run my own photography business, giving me practical experience not only behind the camera but also in working with clients, creating content, managing projects and running a small business.
My background in hospitality has also taught me the importance of communication, customer service, organization and building genuine relationships with people.
I’m passionate about helping others develop their photography skills and confidence. My teaching style is practical, supportive and encouraging, with a focus on helping students understand photography while developing their own creativity and individual style.

I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, experimenting, making mistakes and discovering their own creative style. I will share practical knowledge from working with real clients, running a business and creating photography for families, businesses and the community.
As a qualified Trainer and Assessor, I understand the importance of adapting my teaching to different learning styles and supporting each student throughout their learning journey.
My goal is not simply to teach you how to use a camera — it is to help you understand why you are making creative decisions, build confidence in your abilities and develop skills that you can take into the real world.
