About Jayanth
I am passionate about teaching and always search for ways to make it more interesting. Recently, I learned storytelling to incorporate it in teaching science. I also recently completed a master's in edtech, to learn how technology can be meaningfully integrated into teaching. I have experience teaching in a Kendriya Vidyalaya as a postgraduate teacher in Physics for a few years. For the past 5 years, I am handling CBSE grade 6-12 tuitions. Besides this, I am also handling Oxford AQA and Edexcel GCSE, AS and A level students.

I believe students are not blank slates, and build my class around students' prior knowledge, experiences, and misconceptions. I use videos, simulations, stories, and activities to teach concepts as well as to develop an attitude towards learning. My initial classes are typically at a low pace, to build a base as well as to build confidence among students. I welcome whoever is interested in this method, and would love to learn better in the long run. I am sorry, I can't do miracles in a few weeks, and I don't encourage stressing students as well. After all, learning is best done when a student is self-motivated.
