About Handersen Kurniawan
My name is Handersen, and I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Monash University Malaysia with a strong academic background in Physics especially in mechanics. I am a Bronze Medalist in the Indonesian National Physics Olympiad (OSN) and was selected for the Indonesian IPHO National Training Camp, where I received rigorous training in advanced problem-solving and theoretical physics. Since 2023, I have been teaching Physics on a part-time basis, particularly during competition periods, working with motivated students at the Olympiad levels. My teaching is structured, patient, and results-oriented, with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and systematic problem-solving. I take professionalism seriously and strive to create a supportive and focused learning environment where students can build confidence, improve performance, and develop long-term academic skills.

My name is Handersen, and I focus on helping students build strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, not rote memorization. I believe students perform best when they understand why formulas work and can apply concepts confidently to unfamiliar problems.
I teach Physics step by step using clear logic, diagrams, and intuitive examples. Lessons emphasize systematic problem-solving, identifying common mistakes, and structured thinking, especially in mechanics, electricity, and basic modern physics. For Olympiad-oriented students, I focus on analytical thinking, multiple-solution strategies, and efficient approaches to challenging problems.
Each lesson typically lasts 60–90 minutes and includes concept explanation, guided problem-solving, practice with feedback, and a concise summary.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school (SPM), pre-university students, and Physics Olympiad preparation, with teaching tailored to each student’s level and pace.

A chill tutor! Won't rush while teaching, open minded and wouldn't mind any suggestions from his students. Very good at explaining with easy to understand analogies. Overall a pleasure to learn with!
