About Jocelyn

I’m a Physics tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master's in Physics. I specialize in introducing particle physics and the Standard Model to both high school and university students who are curious about what lies at the heart of matter. I enjoy guiding learners through topics like quarks, leptons, bosons, and the four fundamental forces. To make these complex subjects approachable, I use clear diagrams, relatable analogies, and step-by-step explanations. I believe that even the smallest particles can make a big impact on a student’s understanding when taught with clarity and enthusiasm. About the lesson

My teaching approach for Physics is designed to help students succeed in AP Physics through focused concept review, problem-solving techniques, and smart exam strategies. I make sure students understand the core ideas behind each topic before moving on to practice. Whether it’s motion, forces, energy, or electricity, each lesson builds a solid foundation.

I use targeted drills and regular practice tests to strengthen memory and improve speed. These tools help students become familiar with the exam format and reduce stress on test day. I believe in explaining concepts in simple ways and using clear examples to make tough ideas easier to grasp.

I work especially well with Mathematicians and Sci-Fi Fans—learners who enjoy patterns, logic, and big ideas. I guide them in applying their strengths while filling in any gaps. With encouragement and structure, we boost confidence and aim for high scores. You'll walk into your exam prepared and ready.
