About Djibril
Djibril “Jiggy The Creative” Djigal (formerly known as Jiggy.Bril), a trailblazer in today’s music industry, offers an amalgamation of 1990s R&B with modern day rap and hip hop. Born in Hanau, Germany, Jiggy is of Senegalese and African American descent. He spent numerous years overseas before heading to America where he would spend a few years in Ohio before migrating to Southeast Georgia. Once acclimated to the South, Jiggy earned a slot at one of the most prestigious Performing Arts Magnets Schools in Georgia. There he would become one-third of the group, “Divine Intelligence” - often likened unto The Fugess and Black Eyed Peas. He was also offered the opportunity to train with The Young Americans – a traveling organization that inspires the world through the Arts. Jiggy was introduced as a solo artist in the collaboration with Atlanta recording artist, Cynide called “Party All Night”. Jiggy went on to record his own tracks, “Just Me” and “On the Low”- the latter of which also became his first music video. He introduced his first EP entitled, “Autograph Volume 1 EP”. He has written/co-written songs for Atlanta based artists such as Cynide and Kumbileba (formerly known as Jak Mohn). Jiggy would move forward to start his own music and merchandise company called Poetic Views. Still an independent artist, Jiggy, now residing in the heart of Atlanta, works closely with New Ice Entertainment.
