About Tiffany
I have a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Windsor as well as a minor in child psychology with a focus on learning and developmental disabilities.
I have experience as a student teacher in high school math classrooms as well as experience tutoring math, language (reading, spelling, writing, comprehension) at all levels.
I currently work for a tutoring service and have experience working with children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dyscalculia, ASD, and ADHD.

Subjects available for tutoring (previous experience in all) are language (reading, spelling, writing, comprehension), math, chemistry, psychology, resume and cover letter creation, study techniques, and testing strategies. If there is another subjects you are looking for I would be happy to talk it over with you to explore whether I would be a good option.
I believe that every student learns in a different way. Some people need a visual representation, others need to know why the world works the way it does. I strive to give a rounded understanding of the subjects I teach, so the student not only learns how to complete the problems in front of them, but walks away with the understanding of how to apply that knowledge to other problems and in different ways.
I also prefer to tutor in an environment outside of the home. This can include my home, libraries, or even parks. I find that this places the student and the tutor in a much more relaxed state and creates a dedicated learning environment away from the distractions of the student's everyday life and offers a more rewarding experience.

First session is an assessment of current ability and creation of goals and will last 1 hour. For younger students, parents are also a part of this process. This session is offered at half price.
