About Alexander
I am a experienced primary school tutor who has been qualified in the UK for six years. I have spent four years teaching in primary schools in the UK and have also managed an education project abroad. I have experience in key stages one and two but specialise in upper key stage two. My favourite subject to teach is maths and I have improved my subject knowledge by attending the Annual Teachers of Mathematics four day conference. I have experience with all subjects and can offer Spanish as a foreign language, which I speak at intermediate level.
I believe that children learn most when the work is appropriately challenging and will strive to get to know a student so I can set rich tasks that are at the perfect level for the individual student I'm working with. I am patient and try to make learning as engaging as possible.
