About Nora
Hi, I'm Nora, a dedicated Math tutor with a passion for helping students build confidence, improve their problem-solving skills and discover that mathematics can be both understandable and enjoyable.
I work with Primary and Secondary students, supporting learners of all abilities—from those who need to strengthen their foundations to those aiming for higher grades and greater confidence in the classroom. I understand that no two students learn the same way, so I tailor every lesson to suit each student's individual learning style, pace and goals.
I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Education, which allows me to apply current teaching practices and evidence-based learning strategies in every lesson. Combined with my tutoring experience, this enables me to create engaging, structured lessons that are easy to follow and designed to achieve lasting results.
One of the things that sets me apart is the level of support I provide outside of lesson time. Every student receives professionally designed lesson slides, a personalized PDF revision summary and cheat sheet after each lesson, practice questions to reinforce learning, and email support between sessions whenever they need extra help.
My goal isn't simply to help students complete homework or prepare for the next test. I aim to build strong mathematical foundations, develop independent learners and give every student the confidence to tackle new challenges with a positive mindset.

Every student learns differently, which is why I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to tutoring. My lessons are fully personalized to each student's current ability, learning style and academic goals, helping them build confidence while developing a genuine understanding of mathematics.
I tutor Primary and Secondary Mathematics through both interactive online lessons and face-to-face sessions. Lessons are engaging, well-structured and designed to simplify difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps using visual explanations, worked examples and guided practice.
During our first lesson, I'll assess the student's strengths, identify learning gaps and create a personalized learning plan. From there, each lesson builds on previous knowledge to strengthen understanding, improve problem-solving skills and prepare students for classroom learning, homework, tests and exams.
Unlike many tutors, my support continues after every lesson.
