About Saarah
As a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS, I have extensive experience working with children across KS1 and KS2 in a range of classroom and educational settings. I understand that every child learns differently, so I take the time to build confidence, identify gaps in understanding and adapt my teaching to suit each pupil’s individual needs.
I aim to create a calm, encouraging and positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My teaching is closely linked to the National Curriculum, and I use my classroom experience to provide clear explanations, structured support and appropriate challenge.
I have experience supporting pupils with Maths, English, reading, writing, SPaG, SATs preparation and additional learning needs. Parents can be confident that lessons will be professional, purposeful and carefully planned to help their child make progress while developing greater independence and confidence in their learning.

I am a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS and experience teaching children across KS1 and KS2. My lessons are friendly, structured and adapted to each child’s individual ability, learning style and confidence.
I use a range of teaching techniques including clear modelling, visual resources, questioning, worked examples, practical activities and regular assessment for learning. I identify any gaps in understanding and break concepts down into manageable steps before gradually increasing the level of challenge.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include a short recap, focused teaching, guided practice and independent work. I also provide plenty of encouragement and feedback to help children become more confident and independent learners.
I can support pupils with:
* KS1 and KS2 Maths
* English, reading, writing and SPaG
* SATs preparation
* Catch-up and intervention work
* Homework support
* SEND and additional learning needs
My lessons are suitable for primary-aged children from Year 1 to Year 6, whether they need extra support, greater confidence or additional challenge.
