About Kelly
My name is Kelly. I love teaching and seeing the difference I can make to young minds. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher and have also done Foster Care, so I have the understanding and experience from an array of different inputs. I have been a DSL, dealing with different forms of safeguarding issues, part of the SLT, managing a team of 22 staff and 180 children aged 2-5 with high level of need. I am patient and hard-working, making a difference to each individual child. I know that no two children learn in the same way and will tailor my tutoring to each individual, to suit their needs, their pace and their ability.

I have a child-centred way of teaching following Reggio Emilia. I ensure that children come first, as the way one child learns is different to another, so ensuring differentiation is key. Not all teaching is within a classroom and with my experience I like to make a real difference teaching in many ways.
