My approach is always tailored to each individual student and their learning needs. Lots of worked examples with plently of opportunity for independent practise until the topic is mastered.
Maths is not a spectator sport. I encourage every student to master topics by doing plenty of practise questions and always ask if they are struggling when anything no matter how trivial it may seem.
