About Arron

I’m an experienced tutor with a first class degree in Computer Science (with an AI focus) from the University of Manchester. Alongside my studies, I developed a strong passion for teaching and mentoring, having taught students at secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels studying at a number of institutions.

I have been tutoring for over 8 years in various forms and also have worked as a software engineer working with cutting edge AI technology.

Outside of computing, I’m passionate about music, cooking, and visual art. I’m self-taught on several instruments and love exploring the intersection between creativity and technology. My goal as a tutor is not only to help you grasp challenging material, but also to develop confidence and curiosity, skills that will serve you well far beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I offer tailored tutoring in computer science, artificial intelligence and general programming combining academic rigour with real world insight.

Arron is a great computing tutor. He explain theory concepts and doubts about them very clearly and includes key terminology in his answers. He is also really good for coding as he gives you hints rather than just telling you the answer straight away and makes coding questions that are very related to the GCSE specification.

Arron tutored my son in A-level Computer Science. My son had been struggling with the theory part of the course. Arron was able to teach the topics in a way that were more accessible to my son than in school and this really helped him build up a much better understanding of the subject.
