About Lois

Qualified Interior Designer, having worked in one of the UK's leading Architectural firms and part of an award-winning Interior Design team. Experience in tutoring at Manchester School of Art, leading several students to achieve First Class Honours, win awards & competitions. Tutoring ranges from concept development, spatial planning, detailing, visual communication (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Package) and digital 3D modelling. (Vectorworks, SketchUp, Revit & Enscape)

About the lesson

Hello! As a recent graduate, the stresses some students feel, especially in their final year, is very familiar to me. I am committed to not only supporting students' professional development but, importantly, their wellbeing. I currently work with all students on the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme (there are approx. 50 students in each year group) at Manchester School of Art. The structure of my sessions can range from casual, including design discussion and more structured sessions where we look at 3D digital modelling. I am very easygoing, and adapt my teaching to different learners, questions are welcomed!
