About Samuel

Samuel is one of Melbourne’s most recognized Latin music DJs, with over 4 years of experience performing at clubs, events, and concerts across Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Tasmania. I specialize in Latin music, reggaeton, and urban beats, and I’m passionate about sharing this sound and culture through my lessons. I am originally from Medellín, Colombia, the heart of reggaeton and Latin rhythm, and that gives me a deep connection and understanding of the music I teach. Instagram: djsam.mde

About the lesson

In my DJ lessons, I help you understand how songs are made, recognize the different parts of music, and create playlists that work well together. You’ll learn how to mix songs smoothly using Rekordbox and basic or advanced DJ equipment.

Whether you’re just starting or want to get better for parties and events, my classes are easy to follow and focused on what you want to achieve. You’ll practice things like setting points to start songs, looping, reading the crowd’s energy, and even recording your mixes.

I teach online and in person, either from my place in South Yarra or wherever you are. My lessons are for everyone, any age and skill level. If you don’t have equipment I can provide it at no extra cost.

For more experienced students, we can jump into a private studio in Windsor and use professional club gear.
