About Anastasia

I’m bilingual in Russian and English and have lived in Moscow for 14 years. In college, I took advanced Russian literature courses where I helped non-native classmates succeed in the class. I explained difficult vocabulary and idioms in the readings as well as answered questions about grammar. I also proofread their analytical essays and helped them sound native-like. I’ve also taught young and adult learners online for more than a year and significantly improved their Russian fluency.

About the lesson

Hello! I’m a Russian native speaker and a graduate from UC Davis where I took Russian literature and translation courses and graduated with honors. I have been teaching Russian language students of all ages online for more than a year. Whether you want to learn Russian for travel, business or out of curiosity, I can help you master the language. I know from experience that it can be hard to study a foreign language on your own. A lack of structure is a common problem that many self-learners face. I can design a study schedule tailored to your needs.
In addition, I’ll offer effective resources to improve your Russian skills and create an immersive environment, so you can continue to absorb and use the language outside our sessions. I can also make fun, engaging activities based on your interests and explain grammar in an easy-to-understand way. We can work on pronunciation as well and I can help you sound like a native speaker.
