About Ellen
I have a strong background in social work and am deeply committed to supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students. My work focuses on helping children develop the skills they need to navigate challenges, build healthy relationships, and feel confident both in and out of the classroom. I believe that when students feel safe, supported, and understood, they are better able to succeed in their learning and personal growth.
In my role, I work closely with students, families, teachers, and administrators to create a supportive school environment that meets the needs of every child. I provide individual and small group support, help students develop coping and problem-solving skills, and assist families in connecting with resources when additional support is needed. Collaboration and communication are at the heart of my work, as I believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential for student success.
My goal is to advocate for students and help them develop resilience, confidence, and the social-emotional tools needed to thrive. By fostering a positive and supportive environment, I strive to ensure that every student feels valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, fun, and exciting so that students feel motivated and eager to learn each day. I am a strong advocate for creating a learning environment where curiosity is encouraged and students feel comfortable exploring new ideas. I believe that when learning is active and meaningful, students are more likely to develop a lasting understanding of the material and a genuine love for learning.
My lessons are carefully planned to be hands-on, uplifting, and highly interactive. Students are encouraged to participate, collaborate with one another, and actively engage in the learning process rather than simply listening passively. Through activities, discussions, and creative problem solving, students are able to apply what they learn in meaningful ways.
My goal is to create a positive and supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and capable of success. By making lessons interactive and encouraging students to think, question, and participate, I help foster confidence, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
