I utilize an inquiry-based, cross-disciplinary approach. Because I come from a background in Chemistry and Physics, I don’t just ask students to memorize formulas; I teach them to see the underlying logic of the natural world.

The "Systematic Debugging" Method: I borrow from my cybersecurity hobby to teach science. Just as one identifies a vulnerability in a network, I teach students to identify the "break" in their understanding of a chemical reaction or a physics problem.

Bilingual Scaffolding: For Spanish-speaking students, I provide instruction that bridges language gaps, ensuring that complex scientific terminology is understood in both languages to build total fluency in the subject matter.

A typical lesson plan
The "Ping" (5 mins): A quick review or a "hook" related to a real-world application (e.g., how the physics of a car crash relates to momentum).

Concept Decryption (15 mins): Breaking down the core theory using visual aids and bilingual support if necessary.

The "Lab" Phase (25 mins): Active problem-solving. We work through problems together, moving from guided practice to independent execution.

Security Check (10 mins): A summary where the student explains the concept back to me. If they can’t "teach" it, we haven't mastered it yet.

The Data Log: Brief notes on what was covered and what to "patch" (review) before the next session.

What sets you apart as a tutor
What sets me apart is my 14-year "full-stack" perspective on STEM education. Most tutors specialize in one niche, but my composite science certification and background in Physics and Chemistry allow me to draw connections between disciplines that others miss. Furthermore, my active engagement in Cybersecurity allows me to provide students with a forward-looking perspective on how STEM skills translate into 21st-century careers. I don't just help students pass a test; I help them build the analytical mindset of a scientist and the technical curiosity of a security professional.

Who the lessons are for
High School Students: AP/IB Chemistry, Physics, and General Science.

Post-Secondary: Undergraduate Chemistry (General and Organic) and Introductory Physics.

Bilingual/ESL Learners: Spanish-speaking students looking for STEM support in their native language or English.

Aspiring Tech Students: Those interested in the intersection of traditional science and digital security/computational thinking.
