About Mariam
Hi! I’m Mariam, a Commerce and Law student at the University of Sydney and a passionate tutor with 5+ years of experience.
I achieved a 99.0 ATAR, 13 As at O Level, 4 As and 2 As at A Level, and a perfect 1600 SAT score. I’ve since worked with 70+ students across Australian and international curricula.
I genuinely enjoy helping students go from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling confident in what they’re learning. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I adapt my teaching to suit each student’s individual needs.
Outside tutoring, I’m involved in university activities, writing and community initiatives. I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

My lessons are personalized, engaging and focused on helping students genuinely understand Science and Math rather than simply memorizing content.
I teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics from Years 7–12, adapting each lesson to the student's level, goals and learning style. I break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and use worked examples, targeted practice and exam-style questions to build understanding and confidence.
With 5+ years of tutoring experience and 70+ students taught across Australian and international curricula, I understand how to adapt my teaching to different students and syllabuses.
