A typical AP Science tutoring session is 60–90 minutes and follows this structure:
Warm-up/Review (10 mins): Quick review of previous content or a short quiz to assess retention.
Concept Focus (25–30 mins): Direct instruction on a key topic or concept, supported by visuals or simulations.
Practice & Application (20–30 mins): Solving multiple-choice or free-response questions together; emphasis on AP-style problem-solving and scientific reasoning.
Wrap-Up (5–10 mins): Recap of main ideas, clarification of questions, and assigning optional practice for independent work.
Flexibility is key—lessons shift depending on upcoming tests, lab reports, or specific areas of difficulty.
