I graduated with a BA in English from Augusta State University. Teaching is my passion and it is central to almost all of my interactions with myself and others. I am that kind of friend and mother. I have worked as a teacher for several years and have experience using and/or proctoring various assessments. I am passionate about both reading and writing. One of my favorite aspects of teaching and learning literature and writing, is the level of communication implicit in the nature of the subject. The English Language Arts are a proving ground. While there are theories applicable to language and language acquisition, none of them are absolute. So your story, your truth, is a continual act of creation. Using language effectively, you can reshape, remake yourself. If you are also an effective and engaging writer? You can control the narrative and, quite literally, can write a better world.
