About Abigale
Hi, I’m Abbey, a qualified teacher with over 13 years of experience working with children and young people across primary, secondary and specialist settings.
I currently teach in an alternative provision supporting students with SEMH needs, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, anxiety and school avoidance. I am passionate about helping young people who may have lost confidence in education rediscover their strengths and achieve success in a way that works for them.
My teaching style is patient, supportive and personalised. I believe that every child can learn when they feel safe, understood and valued. Whether your child needs help catching up academically, preparing for exams, improving literacy and numeracy skills, or simply building confidence, I tailor lessons to their individual needs and interests.
Alongside my teaching experience, I hold a PGCE in Primary Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a SEND specialism, and I am continually developing my practice through further professional qualifications.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of finding the right tutor. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.
