About Mike
I’m Mike — a QTS-qualified primary teacher (3–11) with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Primary Education, and I specialise in supporting children with SEND. Fully DBS checked and clear. My background includes classroom teaching across Nursery to Year 6, with much of my teaching focused on intervention, alongside after-school tutoring and lots of 1:1 and small-group support. I’ve also worked in a secondary SEND setting, adapting tasks and communication to a wide range of needs, supporting behaviour regulation, and helping learners build confidence step by step. I’m autism-informed and wellbeing-aware, and I’m known for calm, clear explanations, personalised goals, and supportive feedback that helps children feel safe, capable, and motivated.
