About Kimberley
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist, qualified in 2012, with a diverse background spanning sports, military, private practice, and the NHS. I hold a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, an MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-registration), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Education. My clinical speciality lies in pelvic health, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy. Currently, I balance clinical practice with my primary role as a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at a university. My teaching focuses primarily on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and I serve as the Placement Lead, where I dedicate much of my time to supporting students in clinical placements. Additionally, I supervise students conducting major research projects (up to MSc level) and act as a Link Tutor for an international university, offering me the opportunity to engage with physiotherapy education from a global perspective. I am registered with the HCPC and a member of the CSP. My passion lies in unlocking students’ potential, helping them not only understand their tasks but also appreciate their significance and application in practice. I strongly advocate for self-reflection as a key learning tool and believe that every student has the capability to succeed with the right guidance and support.

Online tutoring sessions are available for 1 hour, utilising a learner-led approach. Our focus can be tailored to specific assignments, assessments, or areas where you seek support. My goal is to help you understand tasks clearly while creating engaging learning opportunities that build your confidence and skills. I provide guidance on interpreting marking criteria and feedback, assisting you in developing areas that need improvement. Additionally, we can explore specific topics of interest within physiotherapy to enhance your knowledge and understanding. Sessions are personalised to support your academic and professional growth effectively. I specialise in supporting students who have failed or are at risk of failing their placements. With over 10 years of experience as a practice educator and 4 years of experience assisting at-risk students at the university level, I provide targeted guidance to help learners succeed. Our sessions can focus on key areas of the CPAF domains, as well as critical aspects such as safety and professionalism. Additionally, I offer interview coaching to help you build confidence and feel fully prepared for placement assessments and future career opportunities
