About Charlotte
I am a fourth-year BSc. Zoology student minoring in One Health who loves my program. I want to become a field biologist with understudied animals in understudied areas. I have already helped fellow students through some of the most difficult courses of their degrees, and am eager to help them further in whatever way suits them best. That way, I can become a professor who truly helps people learn and care. The most important thing to me is making a comfortable environment to learn without stress. This means I will bend over backward to ensure whoever I help can not only do well with tests, but can also fully understand. I have a good foundational understanding of my program and am comfortable working with the typical tricky spots of people's degrees, like chemistry. I have experience helping researchers, designing studies, and working abroad in Madagascar and Australia. As you can tell, I love learning about other parts of the world. I also love meeting new people, exploring outside, cooking, and spending time with friends. I attend wildlife club meetings and am also in the process of joining the new Guelph chapter of The Wildlife Society. Feel free to say hi!

Hello! I provide in-person or online tutoring with any course you need help with for a zoology or any lower-year biology degree. That means I can help with first and second year courses that may be tricky, like killer chem, physics, and biochemistry.
I like to talk with students about what plan will suit them, whether that be helping them with difficult questions, providing full, in-depth lessons with visuals, or a more conversational approach. As someone with an interest in helping people grow, am eager to learn ways to help individual students thrive, even if they are unconventional. I have helped plenty of other students through tough courses already. My biggest priority is creating a relaxed atmosphere and making the toughest parts of university more tolerable.
I am good at areas typically considered weak points for biologists, like math, chemistry, and R, meaning I can help students where they need it most. It helps that I did great in calculus, killer chem, and physics! I also have broad and practical experience thanks to my time assisting graduate students, recording data, designing studies abroad, and taking my One Health minor, giving me a wealth of different experiences and knowledge. I have learned from multiple universities and am great at reading, judging, and citing research papers too!
Since I have done many things with my degree already, I can help students with degree requirements, studying abroad, and career advice as well.
I have primarily helped fellow students in similar BSc. degrees in biology (especially zoology), so that is where most of my experience is. However, I can also help elementary or high school students.
