About Sarah
My first horse was Sally, a 33-year-old broodmare known for being untrainable her whole life. I never rode her, but I learned to listen to her. I have since competed in rated showjumping competitions, trained problem horses, and taught special-needs therapy lessons.

Equitation: the art of riding
Many riders learn to push their heels down and shoulders back, but equitation is more than looking pretty. It's learning to feel your horse's heartbeat and feel their emotions. All of that starts on the ground, but don't worry! Lessons will always have as much time in saddle as you and your horse will benefit from. With experience teaching ages 3-60 and therapy lessons, I am excited to help you or your kid grow in their riding journey.
