Multimedia Resources Using videos, audio recordings, and online tools to enhance learning and retention. Cultural Context Integrating cultural elements and context to provide a comprehensive understanding of the language. Regular Feedback Providing constructive feedback and progress reports to keep students motivated and on track. Typical Length of a Lesson A standard lesson lasts for one hour. However, this can be adjusted based on the student's preference and schedule, ranging from 30 minutes to two hours. Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor I am a native Sinhalese, and I have a distinction pass for Sinhala in the G.C.E. Advanced level examination. I have more than 7 years of experience teaching Sinhala to native Chinese and English speakers as well. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Academic Chinese from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. I hold an MA from York St. John's University, York. I have completed an advanced Chinese language course at the International College of Chinese Language and Culture, Chongqing Normal University, China. I am an experienced Mandarin teacher from the Mandarin Institute of Sri Lanka. I have more than 3 years of experience as a Mandarin translator and interpreter at Guangzhou Municipal Construction Co. Ltd., Havelock City Commercial Development Project, Havelock City, Colombo. I am a freelance translator. Over the past seven years, I have successfully taught Sinhalese to a diverse group of students, ranging from young children to adults. My experience includes: - Working in language schools and private tutoring. - Developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans. - Achieving significant improvement in students' language proficiency and confidence.
