About Brett
I’ve spent over 15 years starting, running and maintaining three successful businesses in the trades and services industry and working with entrepreneurs to help them grow their own ventures. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that come with starting and managing a business. I know how tough it can be to balance everything while also trying to grow, which is why I’m passionate about sharing the what I’ve learned over the years.
I want to teach because I love helping people turn their ideas into reality. There’s something incredibly rewarding about guiding someone through a challenge and seeing them succeed. I’ve done this through my consulting work, and now I want to bring that same dedication to my lessons as a small business tutor.
For me, teaching is about more than just sharing knowledge—it’s about empowering others to take control of their journey, overcome obstacles, and build the business or career they’ve always wanted. I’m here to provide practical, real-world advice that’s tailored to your needs.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to optimise your operations, my lessons cover key areas such as customer service, marketing, business planning, work-life balance, and more. Each session offers real-world examples, personalised feedback, and strategies you can implement right away to improve your business.
I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where you can ask questions, explore new ideas, and build the skills necessary to succeed. My goal is to empower you with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to take your business to the next level, while also maintaining balance in your personal life.
I really enjoy helping tradies who are looking to start their own business. I find this really helps as most apprenticeships teach you your craft and not how to run and maintain a business.
