About Shaun
With more than 20 years experience in the software industry, working on multi-million pound projects, I have a significant amount of knowledge in what it takes to become a commercially successful software engineer.
My main specialty is Java and JEE and developing systems for the web. JEE projects require deep knowledge of a number of areas such as database design, security configuration as well as the Java programming language itself.
I am also experienced in developing e-commerce solutions with Magento and website solutions with Wordpress.
It is important that students looking to build software skills for the modern market place approach their learning holistically. Just knowing how to write code is not enough, so you will need the right guidance from someone that knows what it takes to deliver software of commercial quality.
Outside of the world of software I am a Level 2 Womens Artistic Gymnastics Coach coaching 5 days a week. Also I am an Instructor in Russian Martial Art Systema.
