About Anna

As a child of Latin American parents, I was raised speaking Spanish at home, which fueled my passion for learning other languages. I pursued Spanish in high school and furthered my studies at the University of Illinois. I am well-travelled and have taught in language schools in Europe where I also studied French. I have worked with children of all ages as well as adults seeking to learn Spanish for business and travel. I also worked at reputable Schools like the Rudolph Steiner High School in Ann Arbor, MI as well as the Escuelita Arcoiris, an experimental total immersion preschool in Pittsburgh, PA! I love to teach and help kids of all ages have fun while learning!!

About the lesson

1. Lessons are 1:1, fun and interactive.
2. Focus is placed on communication in real world scenarios not textbook learning.
3. Tailor made courses that meet the individual needs of each student.
4. Student learns at their own pace.
5. Results/progress are seen within the first month of lessons.
6. Lessons include cultural enrichment by the addition of activities like cooking recipes and learning about traditional music and dance.
7. Crash courses available in "survival Spanish" for adults about to travel to Latin America or Spain.
