About Isidora
I am an experienced tutor in both Spanish and French (I am currently also advertising on Superprof for French classes) and a modern languages graduate from the University of Surrey, having achieved Upper Second Class Honours in French and Spanish.
Having grown up in a multilingual family, I have always enjoyed learning languages, which is why I chose to pursue this at university. I would like to continue using my language skills and give back to the community by empowering students through education.
My patience, approachability, and excellent communication skills are qualities that I would bring to my lessons and build a strong student-teacher rapport. I am confident that I will contribute to the academic growth of students.
I also plan to embark on an experience in Thailand within a year where I will be teaching English.

My teaching methods will consist of going through a variety of resources such as powerpoints, videos, worksheets, games, and practical speaking conversations in the target language.
Typical length of a lesson will be an hour. I have been tutoring in Barnet since the start of 2024 but am looking to expand my services to online, so that I can share my love of languages even further!
I have a BA degree from the University of Surrey in Modern Languages: French and Spanish with a placement year spent working in Paris for 6 months and studying for a semester in Spain.
My lessons are aimed at everyone, of all levels and ages, and can easily adapt to the needs of my students! Just please let me know what you would be expecting of me and we would be able to work from there :)

I studied Spanish A level with Isi and she always had a good eye and good understanding for grammar (she similarly was the grammar police during GCSE English classes often correcting my mistakes!). It was a pleasure studying and revising with Isi who took a methodical approach, breaking down tasks and processes to best understand them. Enjoy your classes you are in safe hands!
