About Rakheti
I am an experienced STEM and public health professional with a strong academic background in biology and epidemiology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and understand challenging concepts. I bring a patient, encouraging, and student-centered approach to tutoring, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I work with students in biology, general science, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, and college readiness, and I enjoy helping learners reach their academic goals and prepare for their next steps.

My tutoring approach is personalized, supportive, and focused on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorize information. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, guided practice, visual learning, and questions to identify areas of difficulty. A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material, identifying learning goals, teaching new concepts, practicing together, and ending with independent practice and a brief review. I work with middle school, high school, college, and graduate students in biology, general science, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, and college readiness. What sets me apart is my combination of STEM education, public health expertise, and experience working with diverse learners. I focus on building both academic skills and confidence so students can become more independent and successful learners.
