About Ransher

I am a high school student who scored an 800 on the SAT Math section & a 770 on the SAT Reading section, and I am passionate about helping others achieve the same success. I stay up to date with the latest SAT question types and focus on methods that actually work during the real test. I have helped friends and classmates, including my friend who scored a 1560, improve their scores and gain confidence in their test-taking abilities. My approach is calm, clear, and goal-focused. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and struggles so that I can build a plan that works for them. Whether you are just starting SAT prep or trying to break through a goal score, I am committed to helping you feel confident and prepared every step of the way.

As a high school student who scored an 800 on the SAT Math section & a 770 on reading (so a 1570 overall), I understand what it takes to succeed on the test. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps and teaching strategies that helped me improve my own score.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students as a peer, not just as a tutor. I have helped classmates and friends, including my friend who scored a 1560, feel more confident and in control of their SAT prep. My goal is not just to teach but to coach you to your best possible score.
My lessons are designed for students in grades 9 to 11 who are preparing for their first SAT or looking to raise their Math & reading scores. A typical session includes timed warmup questions, a walkthrough of common traps and challenging problems, test taking strategies, mental math techniques, and personalized practice drills.
