About Shajul
I have a Masters in Chemical Engineering and a PGCE. I have been working as a Teacher and Tutor for over two years. I have taught hundreds of GCSE students, and my highest achieving student has achieved Level 9s in all three sciences. All of my students obtain an average of one grade above their initial target.

I teach students from Years 7-11 in all three Sciences. As a teacher, I work on breaking down Science into both theoretical and practical aspects, thereby giving students a firm understanding of the content and tackling scientific misconceptions. I pride myself on ensuring a comfortable atmosphere within the classroom, to enable students to feel they can discuss any areas in which they require support. I like to complete exam questions every lesson to summarise and assess learning, emphasising on exam technique. In addition, I tailor the exam questions to test a range of skills required, such as mathematical and descriptive abilities, where scientific key words are applied.
