About Soumia

Hello! My name is Soumia, and I currently teach in public schools.

Throughout my career, I have supported students with different abilities, learning styles, and academic needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I create a patient, respectful, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

I am organized, reliable, and committed to helping each student build strong skills and greater confidence in French and math. My goal is to make learning clear, engaging, and positive while helping students progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centred, encouraging, and adapted to each learner’s needs. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths, challenges, learning style, and academic goals. I use clear explanations, visual supports, practical examples, educational games, and guided practice to make French and math easier to understand.

A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by the introduction of a new concept. The student then practises through interactive activities and exercises. We finish with a recap and a small task to check understanding and reinforce learning.

What sets me apart is that I currently work as a teacher in public schools while . This gives me practical knowledge of classroom expectations, curriculum requirements, and effective teaching strategies. I am patient, organized, and experienced in adapting instruction to students with different abilities and learning needs.

My lessons are designed primarily for elementary school students who need support in French or math, including homework help, skill development, review, enrichment, and confidence building.
