About Mariann
I practiced with several teachers since 2010, and focused on Tri Yoga about 2011. I became a certified Tri Yoga Basics instructor in 2015. I became certified to teach Sunlight Chair Yoga in 2014, and am currently teaching a chair yoga class at the Rohnert Park Senior Center. My other passion is American Tribal Style belly dance. I'm a retired senior, having been a Calif. Psychiatric Technician ( like a Licensed Vocational Nurse, with special training in mental health disorders). I am patient, dependable, and always take your well being and safety seriously.

Both Tri Yoga and Sunlight Chair Yoga are gentle, slow and adaptable for anyone. Both are great for seniors, persons recovering from injury or illness, or other mobility problems. I am patient and exacting in my teaching style and leave you feeling better and better as your practice continues. My format starts with some gentle breath work, then some postures ( asanas ) and slow flows. We end with a final relaxation (savasana) and a brief meditation. I've always received praise and appreciation from my students. Let's get together.
