About Gianni
I hold a Master of Performance degree from the Royal College of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Currently, I teach for Junior Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Brighton College, Wandsworth Preparatory School and I am also the Lead Peripatetic Teacher at James Wolfe Primary School in Greenwich. The trumpet is my principal instrument but I also have experience teaching the French horn, trombone and tuba. I have extensive performing experience. Highlights include performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra (rehearsal only), Rambert Dance Company, British Sinfonietta and Docklands Sinfonia. In addition to this, I have performed for the Parallax Orchestra, the Urban Soul Orchestra and worked with acclaimed artists such as Camila Cabello and Sonique. Other highlights include recording the music score for Amazon Prime's The Grand Tour and the Ribena advert.

I am an enthusiastic teacher of brass committed to providing excellent music tuition in a supportive learning environment. I ensure I plan lessons, monitor progress and provide written reports at least once a term. In addition to this, I have prepared students for both the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College London grade exams, diploma exams and where appropriate music college entrance auditions. If you prefer to develop your technical ability through repertoire and enthusiasm for the instrument rather than grade exams, I also fully support this.
