About Sue
I am available to tutor students K-12 in all subjects. I am currently a substitute teacher throughout Santa Cruz County. I have taught as a long-term substitute teacher for 4th Grade at Mar Vista Elementary School, Math/Science at Rolling Hills Middle School, and Language Arts/Social Studies at Aptos Junior High School. I have worked in education in the local area for 30 years. I completed the Multiple Subject Teaching program through CalStateTEACH in 2017. I have a BA and an MA in Anthropology with an emphasis in human ecology. I also have an MS in Horticulture and have studied Web Design, Graphic Design, and Voice. I have tutored through The Tutoring Club in Scotts Valley. I have two successful adult daughters, one with an MPA working in health care in Seattle and one with both MM and Specialist degrees in viola performance who works as a professional musician in LA.
