As a supervisor in my full-time line of work, I have experience coaching and training in a professional setting. I have spent 18 years studying piano in private and academic settings. 2 years of study at Lakehead University prior to COVID.

I can teach using the RCM book series, Alfred's piano lessons, or we can focus on learning to play your favourite pieces right away and building our lessons around the techniques to master those. My approach is based on your goals and what teaching style will make you a better independent learner.
Included in lessons will be study in ear training, sight singing, and techniques for analyzing music to improve sight-reading.
