About Silvana-Maria
Having worked as a qualified teacher in both mainstream and special schools, I am very aware of individual needs and that everyone has their own path and learns in their own way. I am patient and kind, but also have high standards. It is important to me that pupils understand why they learn what they learn, what is the context for the knowledge, and can see their skills developing and how they may be able to use them, even if they aren't interested in a STEM career.

I am a qualified teacher with experience in both mainstream and special schools. I am very inclusive and patient and I understand that everyone learns in their own way. I teach Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to all levels, although I specialize in GCSE and A-level.
I have high expectations of my students, which usually results in great outcomes for them, but to me, the most important part is that pupils develop a love for learning and their confidence, so that in the future it is easy for them to attempt things that may feel out of their comfort zone and so that they can always find joy in developing themselves when they become adults, both personally and professionally.
